My practice schedule is as follows: Tuesday through Friday 9:00am to 7:00pm at my 1960/Cypress Creek Parkway location. On Mondays, I practice at my Woodlands office location from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. I have 30 years of professional experience as a therapist, with Doctoral degrees in both Psychology and Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family therapy. I am currently accepting new clients for individual,
family and marital therapy services. I am providing educational services to companies and organizations, critical incident stress debriefing services, biofeedback services, AD/HD evaluations, DOT SAP alcohol/drug evaluations and
regular alcohol and drug evaluations and fitness for duty evaluations. I also offer Tele-counseling/Video on line services that are HIPPA compliant and may be accessed on this website. I am not licensed by either the Psychology or
Medical Boards in Texas but I am licensed as a Professional Counselor, a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor.
I have worked on site as an employee assistance counselor with the United States Postal Service for one year, the United Space Alliance for three years and the Federal Aviation Administration for three years.
In addition, I have presented at numerous national and local conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of post traumatic stress disorder, resiliency, alcohol and drug issues, managing change, DOT
Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) issues, grief and loss issues, improving communication, co- worker communication, fundamental management skills and improving treatment outcomes in the therapy process. I have spoken on other
topics as well.
I have one son, Jack, who is 27, who is an Army veteran that lives independently on his own, whom I love very much. I have been a practicing Christian my entire life. I attend church regularly.
I have earned several college degrees. My undergraduate degree major is B.S. in Rehabilitation Science which he obtained from the University OF Texas, Health Science Center, School Of Allied Health, Dallas, Texas, in August, 1975. I earned two M.S. degrees in Counseling and in Psychology from Texas A & M University in Commerce, Texas. They were obtained in May, 1975 and May, 1977, respectively. I was awarded a Doctor Of Education degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas A & M University in Commerce, Texas in May, 1980. I also was awarded a Doctor Of Philosophy degree in Psychology from the University Of Southern Mississippi that was awarded in May, 1984. I am a life long learner. I continue to attend educational programs in varied areas of study.

Specialty certifications include DOT Substance Abuse Professional; Alcohol and Drug Counselor III - Texas; Gesell Child Examiner; and Certified Employee Assistance Professional - #4168 and Certified Biofeedback Practitioner.
I have additional beginning and advanced training in the Emotional Freedom Technique - EFT, the Jose Silva Basic and Advanced System Methods techniques and has attended training programs in neurofeedback and biofeedback and energy psychology. I completed training in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and other methods to assist individuals to resolve their issues in a positive and beneficial way. I also completed several courses at The Light University at the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). I have been, in the past, a Board Certified Professional Pastoral Counselor certified by the American Association of Christian Counselors Board of Professional Christian Counselors. I recently completed the B.A.N.A. biofeedback certification and training program and am a qualified biofeedback practitioner. I also have the Fisher Wallace Stimulator System and the Alpha-Stim system, both of which are FDA approved, that treat pain, depression and anxiety.
