Dr. Garlock offers Christian counseling services in his practice.  He has attended Light University, the counselor training program for the American Association Of Christian Counselors, and completed coursework on providing individual, couples and family therapy services from a Christian perspective.  He just received his certification as a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor through the American Association of Christian Counselors  He has been a member of The Woodlands United Methodist Church for twenty years.  He has been a practicing Methodist since he was saved at age 12 years.  He respects all faiths and denomiations and has clinical experience working with individuals from varying religious backgrounds.  He  has been offering Christian counseling services for the past 20 years.  He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and regularly participates in professional activities with a variety of Christian organizations.

Dr. Garlock just completed the "Stress and Trauma Care With Military Application" Program and the "Caring For People God's Way" Program that aRE offered by the American Association Of Christian Counselors.
